Self analysis and critique for Artist and art students

This year in my art classes , I have a lot of students that are combined art I and art II.
With this being said my art II students are given some assignments on independent study,

I hate this but at least 5 minutes of class everyday I take time to talk to them about their assignment and art work.

I have decided that to enforce the 5 step studio process , elements and principles my students will fill out a critique and analysis form on them self. This create a knowledge and cohesion of art and a strong base in their knowledge of art. I am including this on this page as a jpeg .

Hopefully this will help you to analysis some of your art work and create an understanding in the producing and aesthetics of art.

Returning to my passion, teaching art?

I love art . If you are like me it is my passion. I have taught art for 36 years and well it as much apart of me as my heritage. So, I have not posted or blogged for the past year, I have been at home retired trying to find my niche, But through staying at home and not working my passion of art I am back teaching at a public school.

I love art and I feel that I was loosing myself. Slowly but surely I was disappearing into to an invisible nothing. So I am back and I want to share some of my lesson with you who love art.
